10 Reasons Why You Should Play Minecraft

Hi guys, in this post I’m going to list some reasons why YOU should play Minecraft. Minecraft is a fun game, but there are some people who have never heard of it or who say they hate it even though they have never played it. So this post is mainly to convince those people to at least give it a try. Also, someone on the Fittermussel37.com discord server gave me this idea.

If you like open world games, you’ll like Minecraft.

In Minecraft, there is a way to beat the game, but you can also do many other things, such as building a castle, getting diamond armor, saving a village from a raid, etc.

Different game modes to try out.

If you enjoy the normal Minecraft survival mode, you can also try creative mode if you love to create, spectator mode if you love to admire the terrain of Minecraft, and hardcore mode if you want to prove you’re a Minecraft pro. In hardcore mode, if you die once, your world is deleted. (Java only)

Large community.

You can probably find a friend that you can talk about Minecraft with. And you can join discord servers and other sites to talk about Minecraft with many people.

Play with friends.

Playing with a few friends together on a realm or joining their world is so fun. Starting a base and surviving in that world is very enjoyable. The phrase “More the Merrier” really applies when playing Minecraft with friends.

Many different play styles.

In Minecraft, you can be a redstone engineer, a PvP professional, a builder, a speedrunner, a farm master, and many more. There are different ways to play Minecraft.

Texture packs.

If you want to make Minecraft look different in any way, you can get some texture packs.

Special worlds.

(Bedrock only) In Minecraft Bedrock, there is a thing called the marketplace where you can buy texture packs, skin packs, and more. But the main thing for this reason is maps/worlds that you can buy and play, from Star Wars to Nerf battles. There are tons of worlds to try.

Modding.

If you know how to code and want to make the game different, there are some ways to do that. I personally don’t know how, but I know there is a YouTube video on how to create modded Minecraft. I’m sorry. BUT I do know a way to create your own mob: Block Bench is a texture creating software that Mojang itself recommends.

Servers.

If you want to play Minecraft with a lot of people, servers are really fun. In Bedrock, there will already be a few installed, but in Java, you will have to go to multiplayer and add them there. You can also add more in Bedrock. All you have to do to add a server is put in the name and address, and if you are in Bedrock and don’t know the port, 19132 is probably it.

The other Minecraft games.

If you don’t want to play normal Minecraft, then there are two others that you can try: Minecraft Dungeons and Minecraft Legends. (The game that I talked about a LOT in the early days).
