Five Must-Have Monkeys in Bloons TD 6

I have been playing a lot of Bloons TD 6 lately. It's a super fun game that challenges the ming in a lot of ways. I like it because you have to use strategy and thinking skills.

The game is also nice because there are built-in breaks between each round. This makes it easy to multitask while you play. For example, I like to have a game going while I load or unload the dishwasher. I can set up the monkeys, hit play, and while the bloons are running the course, I can take care of my chores. At the end of the round, the game pauses and I can start the process over again. I really like this aspect of Bloons TD 6.

I have shared the game with many friends and people have started to ask me for advice. So for all of you starting to play, here are my top 5 Monkeys to add to your map.

Ninja Monkey

Ninja Monkey is great because it automatically can see camo bloons. This is obviously a great attribute because you don't need to upgrade to get that capability. My favorite upgrades are Sticky Bomb, because it does a lot of damage to MOABs and Bloonjitsu because of the large amount of damage that happens quickly.

Wizard Monkey

The fire capabilities of Wizard Monkey are my favorite. They enable the ability to melt lead and damage other Bloons. You can combine the fire capabilities with Monkey Sense and then you don't need to worry about Camo Lead Bloons.

Tack Shooter

All three upgrade tracks for the Tack Shooter are helpful, I would honestly recommend all three. However, my favorite combination is Ring of Fire with Super Range tacks. This will generate a lot of power to defend against MOABs or anything else the game throws at you.

Glue Gunner

I rarely play a game without having Glue Gunner on my map. The best part is that the Corrosive Glue is a relatively cheap way to deal with Lead Bloons. I also find that MOAB Glue and Relentless Glues is very helpful for slowing down Bloons and getting them under control.

Dart Monkey

This is Ole' Reliable of all the Monkeys. The Monkey that started it all. If you get two Dart Monkeys side by side, one with Sharp Shooter and another with Juggernaut, you are in great shape. A good combination here is Juggernaut with Enhanced Eyesight -- this will take care of all Lead Bloons, camo or otherwise.

BONUS TIP

Monkey Village is a great resource to add to your map. I especially value Radar Scanner. This allows all Monkeys in its radius to see camo. So any Monkeys that do not have the ability to see camo can go here (Tack Shooter and Glue Gunner, for example).

Let me know what you think! Did I miss any of your favorite Monkeys?
